Composer & concert pianist, Diane Davies performs selected pieces from Romantic Christmas Suite Vol 1, which is being released by Fred Bock Publishing for Christmas 2021. This arrangement is an amalgam of selected Chopin Nocturnes melded with gems from traditional Christmas carols.
The Nocturnes included in this recital are Nocturne in B Major Opus 32, No. 1 fused with I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, Nocturne in B-flat minor Opus 9, No. 1 fused with What Child is This or Greensleeves, and Chopin Nocturne in E-flat Major Opus 9, No. 2 fused with Silent Night. She will also include selections from volume 2, and selections from her “Impressionistic Suite” consisting of cherished Debussy pieces and specifically traditional French Christmas carols.
